Sears-Peyton Gallery is pleased to present Float, a group exhibition featuring work by Michael Abrams, Isabel Bigelow, Eugene Brodsky, Deborah Dancy, Celia Gerard, Kim McCarty, Esther Podemski, Karen Revis, Jane Rosen, Katherine Ryan Roth, Peter Schroth, MaryBeth Thielhelm, Tad Wiley and Andrew Zimmerman.
Float is a rotating group exhibition featuring the work of 14 artists. The exhibition takes its name from Tad Wiley's large scale oil painting of the same title, which is the visual and thematic touchstone of the show. Buoyancy, fluidity, lightness, and a concern with pure visual delight link these diverse works. The show runs through September 15, 2012.
The gallery is closed from August 18 through Labor Day.
